Renowned for his quirky and cute puppets and dolls, putpet (Kenzi Ohtani) uses his love for vintage and used clothing to inform his designs. Ohtani puts his own twist on the classic Japanese daruma by replacing Bodhidharma’s iconic face with his signature yellow smiley face to spread his message of peace and love. The doll is constructed of a recycled polyester filling and features a reworked bandana patchwork body for our collaborative efforts.
Due to the handmade nature of our collaborative works, each item will be constructed in a similar manner to the reference item in our photos. Every doll will feature a slightly different bandana patchwork pattern with the same colour scheme, and will have slight variations between them. Please use our photos as a reference, as each item is 100% unique!
